Newsletter SEPTEMBER 2016

Dear Parents/Carers

As you may have noticed the invoices are slightly different this month. We have decided to make it easier for everyone by doing  a termly invoice so you pay the same amount each month for that term. This means the amount on this month’s will be the amount you pay for September, October, November and December. This will be your only invoice until January. Please remember your invoice is due to be paid by the 1st of each month.

As of September we have decided not to do the daily sheets for pre-school children, this is because it takes up so much of the staff’s valuable time with the children. There will be a sheet that staff keep to record how much each child eats of lunch and tea and any other messages that need to be passed on at the end of the day.Staff will verbally feedback to each parent what their child has been up to that day. Babies and toddlers will continue to have daily sheets.

Libby Cockram will be leaving our parent committee as her son is starting school, so there is a vacancy for a new member preferably a baby or toddler parent? If you are interested please speak to Hannah or Katie.

Also there is a tapestry app that you can now use on your phone which may be an easier way for you to look at your child’s observations and add observations yourself.

A couple of dates for your diary…… the Autumn fayre will be on Saturday 17th of September, where there will be bouncy castle, face painting, children’s art auction and much more , tickets are £3 per family and the profit will go towards a trip/visit for the children. Please ask Hannah/Katie for tickets.

Parents evening will be on the 20th September, please speak to keyworkers about booking a 15 minute time slot.

A little reminder that’s snack finishes at 9.15am so if your child arrives after this then please make sure they have had breakfast.

Lastly I have put a slip in for you to update your phone numbers and address to make sure we have the correct details on file, please fill in and return ASAP.
